In Viveros Río Tollo we reinforce our commitment to the environment thanks to the installation of a photovoltaic solar power plant for self-consumption at our main headquarters in Tomiño, located in Goián.
The new photovoltaic installation will generate 40% of the electricity we consume in these facilities and will prevent the emission of more than 4 tons of C02 into the atmosphere.
For the photovoltaic installation, the nursery was assisted by 45% of the Xunta de Galicia through INEGA framed in the call for 2019 grants for Renewable Energy Projects and Energy Saving and Efficiency in primary agricultural production companies (Own Funds Xunta de Galicia).
